Obituary for Patricia "Patt" Gardetto

Gardetto, Patricia (Patt)

On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, Patt Gardetto passed on peacefully to eternal life, surrounded by her family. She lived a full life to the age of 80 ½ years.

A native of Milwaukee, Patt attended Marquette University and graduated with a degree in Journalism. Shortly thereafter, Patt started her journey as the matriarch of her family. She was a devoted wife and mother and was fiercely proud of her family.

She lived as a devout Catholic, spending over 25 years working for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. She worked as Parish Administrator, and had the honor of working with many Pastors and Priests. She was able to use her journalistic skills as the proud owner of the weekly bilingual bulletin. Those that worked with her described her as a model of efficiency.

She meets her husband, Dominic, in eternal happiness. She’ll be forever remembered by her brother Phil (Marie) Novak; her children; Michele (Jim) O’Connor, James, and Robert, her grandchildren; Andrea (Michael) Richichi and Ryan (Alyssa) Nessman; and countless family and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday September 30th 9:00AM to 10:00AM with Mass to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 3222 S 29th St, Milwaukee, WI 53215.
